1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using StableStack's website (stablestack.ai), CLI tool, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
StableStack provides a static analysis tool that helps developers identify bugs, security issues, and code quality problems. Our Services include:
- A command-line interface (CLI) tool for code analysis
- A website with documentation and resources
- Subscription-based access to premium features
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Subscriptions and Payments
4.1 Pricing
Subscription pricing is displayed on our pricing page. All prices are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
4.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
4.4 Refunds
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Contact hello@stablestack.ai for refund requests.
5. License and Usage
5.1 Free Tier
The free tier grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the basic features of StableStack for personal and commercial projects.
5.2 Paid Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions grant you access to all features according to your plan. Licenses are per-seat unless otherwise specified (Enterprise plans may include unlimited seats).
5.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Share license keys with unauthorized users
- Use the Services for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or licensing restrictions
- Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
6. Intellectual Property
StableStack and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StableStack and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your code remains yours—we claim no rights to any code you analyze using our tools.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. STABLESTACK IS A TOOL TO ASSIST WITH CODE ANALYSIS BUT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE DETECTION OF ALL BUGS OR SECURITY ISSUES.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STABLESTACK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StableStack and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
